I thoroughly enjoyed the readings at UCL Bloomsbury - a refreshing mix of light-hearted and topical themes set to some wicked tunes. I found Shiromi Pinto's 'Haraka' particularly stirring and Gemma Weekes a genius with metaphors. Looking forward to hearing more  soon.

Moving, magical experience. May I say that Kadija Sesay and Matt Thorne should read together more often. Certainly my highlights of the evening. Kadija Sesay's symbols of Tupac and Ed captured my imagination. Stunning.

Can I be biased? And say that Matt Thorne's 'flute' story is definitely one of my favourites.

And the Leeds audience last night - such a wonderful, warm vibe - and I didn't have the food this time - but I know it was good!

Good to be part of the Company, great deliverie sin Manchester.  I notice two distinct paths being taken: the radio style path of performance where its in the soundscape, and the theatre style, where the physical presence and movement is part fo the story.  How do these affect story choice? I muse.
